ONE HEART, ONE MIND, ONE NATION WITH MARY
Core Purpose of Rosary Aotearoa
To foster a united, prayerful nation by promoting devotion to the Holy Rosary, embracing the cultural richness of Aotearoa’s diverse communities, and responding to Our Lady’s call for prayer, penance, and peace through collective national and local initiatives rooted in faith and love for the Blessed Mother.
Rosary Aotearoa 2025
One Nation, One Heart in Prayer
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who joined this year’s Rosary Aotearoa Prayer Campaign from families and parishes to communities across New Zealand. Together, as One Nation and One Heart, we lifted our prayers to heaven for peace, the protection of future generations, and the preservation of human dignity in a rapidly changing world.
Through the intercession of our Blessed Mother, we prayed for grace to fill our hearts, transform our families, and bring healing and hope to our nation and beyond.
Rosary Aotearoa: United in Prayer, One Nation Under Mary’s Mantle
On the 1st of October 2018, Rosary Aotearoa responded to the call for national prayer, honouring the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary celebrated on the first Sunday of October. This sacred observance offered a grace-filled opportunity for the faithful across the country to come together in spiritual unity, answering Our Lady of Fatima’s call to offer prayers, penance, and heartfelt devotion to her Immaculate Heart.
From Gore to Timaru, Christchurch to Blenheim, Wellington to Hastings, and all the way through Taranaki, Tauranga, Metro Auckland, Wainui, and culminating in Kaitaia, Catholic communities across Aotearoa New Zealand were united in praying the Holy Rosary. This national movement was joyfully led by Rosary Aotearoa, bringing together a tapestry of cultures, voices, and hearts in devotion.
As we reflect on each bead of the Rosary, we join the multitude of prayerful Catholics around the globe interceding through our Blessed Mother Mary, and trusting in her loving guidance for our nation and the world.
